Caer Durell
Inquisitor
Identity & Story
The essence, fate, and whispers remembered by the Record.
Overview
Caer Durell was the finest glyph-hand the Accord ever swore in — the one they summoned when a sealing had to hold not for years but for ages.
It was Caer Durell who oversaw the glyphwork for the ritual the order does not name, and that proximity to its deepest secret proved fatal. He was tortured, and then he disappeared under circumstances the Accord has never explained and never investigated. Officially he is Missing. Unofficially, the sealed sanctum beneath the northern wing is still guarded by glyphs inscribed in his hand — the work of a man who is gone, holding shut a door he may have died regretting he ever helped to close.
